Strategy

Begin with intensive information architecture planning to deliver low-fidelity wireframes as the launchpad for deeper UI/UX design and functional specification documentation. Utilize existing brand guidelines, imagery, and client feedback to deliver 3 homepage design options of which one will be selected and refined to meet scope requirements. Upon approval of the homepage design move into an iterative development process engaging the client, development team, and design team in weekly sprints with regular site improvement deliverables.

Results

This project had many challenges and roadblocks including client-side project lead changes and lengthy approval process requiring multiple stakeholder feedback cycles. Despite these challenges our teams were able to effectively develop a fully-responsive site within the ascribed budget by utilizing a combination of Avada’s pre-built WordPress layouts/extensions, WooCommerce for the product catalogue (no eCommerce integration), and custom code functions for Dealer and Store locator elements.
