Our Team

Stewart McCullough

CEO & Founder

Stewart founded Montana Banana in 1996 in his garage (well, in his living room actually). He originally designed and built all the sites himself, but today he manages a team of 10 people who are much better at website design than he is. Stewart now focuses on managing the Montana Banana systems, overseeing the hosting and technical infrastructure, and doing system analysis for clients. Stewart has a BA from Pomona College. In 1998 he also started an e-commerce company www.yixing.com that continues to thrive.

In his personal time, he enjoys being a dad, creating stop-motion animations, building LEGO robots, yoga, running, and reading Carl Jung.

Joe Oppegaard

Chief Technology Officer

Joe started his career on the technical side of things, running tech support for an Internet service provider (ISP). Over the course of the past twelve years he has actively contributed to the development of a wide array of web projects and, as an avid member of the Open Source Community, he is the primary author of a number of tools popular with Linux administrators. Joe is adept at managing complex projects and his deep understanding of the development process is an asset across a wide variety of Montana Banana client projects.

He likes to play his nylon string guitar, work on old cars, and hang out at the fire station.

Joe is a Magento Certified Developer.

Jason Kenison

Jason Kenison

Senior Programmer

With a background in both design and development, Jason is able to merge multiple aspects of a project together. A web project or mobile app is more than just an eye catching design or a well built codebase. Jason has been building websites on a variety of platforms for over 15 years and has seen the industry grow and change into what it is now.

Outside of work, he spends time with his son, collects vinyl records, plays video games and enjoys a good science fiction novel.

Eric Lozaga

Eric Lozaga

Senior Developer

Eric made his first website in 1994 to the tune of Angelfire and never looked back. While stationed in Hawaii during his time in the military, he started to teach himself the LAMP stack and continued to improve until he finished his enlistment in 2006. At that time he began freelancing while also working a range of development positions, from small web development companies to large advertisement agencies. He has worked on over 450 websites during his career.

During his free time, he enjoys computers, playing volleyball, airsoft, and playing with his two boys.
