Objective
Vallarta Supermarkets have been a client of Montana Banana for over a decade. The brick and mortar business in southern California has been growing exponentially, and it was time to make another giant leap with their website. In considering a redesign, we needed to ensure that the website was serving their customers with the same warmth and hospitality that they offer in all of their store branches. With lots of data on how customers use the site, we set out to prioritize a mobile-first bilingual experience that makes it easy to find sales, stores, or apply for jobs.
Strategy
Our recipe for success was to partner closely with the client every step of the way. Our designer focused on making the user experience (UX) feel as fresh as the produce on the shelves of the store. We put a team of two copywriters on the job to ensure the site is ideal whether your primary language is English or Spanish. Our developer made sure that switching between languages and devices is easy and intuitive.
Results
At the end of the project, the client was overjoyed at our shared success. On mobile devices and on desktops the customers are using the site as an extension of the store. They’re finding exactly what they want and need on the site. The custom site is also extremely easy for the client to make changes on so that they can offer promotions, new sales, and flawlessly integrated social media!
