Montana Banana’s website has a fresh new look! We love building websites and always looking forward to making something new and exciting and wanted our own montanab.com to showcase some of that awesomeness.
The first thing you might notice are some new Monty illustrations used throughout the site. Our beloved mascot, Monty, has been a part of the Montana Banana family for over 28 years. It was time, this year he got a major facelift with custom illustrations from Courtney Barnebey, a designer we’ve had the privilege to work with on a few projects now.
Monty’s new design brings life and fun to our website. He has a face everyone can’t help but love.
When bringing a new design to an existing website, especially one that has content going back for years, it’s important to work around existing content while updating things to work better for SEO and backend content management. For the montanab.com redesign, we have blog posts, service pages and an extensive collection of case studies that all have search engine rankings that we want to retain. By carefully constructing 301 redirects and new page URLs, we’re able to keep our SEO and improve with new pages and content.
